Experience
I've been teaching writing for more than 20 years, and I've tutored language arts since 1999. In addition, I write practice AP English tests for Varsity Tutors. I love seeing my students grow and excel. It's tremendously rewarding to know that I'm helping them open doors to a richer future. I believe learning should be a positive experience (and fun as much as possible.) I'm committed to nurturing each client's strengths and self-confidence. I'm always happy to answer questions and review material as many times as needed. I achieved perfect verbal scores on the GRE, the SAT, and the AP English Composition exam. I have a strong background in linguistics, rhetoric, Shakespeare, and European history.
