Experience
I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, helping students of all ages, elementary through college. I can help with many subjects, including Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, and SAT/ACT. I have also taught summer preparatory courses with tutoring companies. In addition to my tutoring and teaching, I have worked as a Scientist at hospitals, universities, and biotechnology companies. I have two scientific publications for my work in biomedical research. At one point, I also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician. I believe my scientific work experience enables me to provide math and science students with real-life examples for better understanding and makes learning these subjects more interesting. I also take the time to get to know my students so that I can better understand their learning style and goals. I assess each students individual skillset to determine a unique tutoring plan. I really enjoy helping students achieve their goals, whether that be increasing their grade in a class, acing an exam, getting into college, improving their SAT score, or better understanding a principle. I enjoy staying active, being outside, reading, listening to music, and playing with my dogs.
